| BSH Chairman Gutberlet: Presence of efficient home appliances in
households must be increased. Home appliances that consume less energy and water are set to remain the central topic in the "white goods" industry. This was the clear message from Dr. Kurt-Ludwig Gutberlet, President and CEO of Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group, to guests from the specialist retail sector, and the worlds of politics, industry and the media at this year's IFA, the leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances. | Außergewöhnliche Kooperation für umweltfreundliches
Transportkonzept Gemeinsam haben die BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH, Deutschlands nachhaltigstes Unternehmen 2008, und DHL Global Forwarding, Deutschlands nachhaltigstes Unternehmen 2009, ein umweltfreundliches Transportkonzept für die Inlandslogistik von Seefrachten entwickelt und heute im baden-württembergischen Giengen a.d. Brenz den neuen Container-Terminal der BSH eröffnet. Auf einer Fläche von insgesamt rund 10.000 Quadratmetern bietet er Platz für 1000 der 20 Fuß langen, so genannten TEU-Container (Twenty Foot Equivalent Unit). Zu dem Terminal führt ein ebenfalls neuer Gleisanschluss an das deutsche Gleisnetz. Damit können die Container direkt und umweltfreundlich per Bahn von und zu den Seehäfen in Hamburg und Bremerhaven transportiert werden. Die mehrmals in der Woche fahrenden Züge werden von DHL-Railservice organisiert. more | ||
