BSH Hausgeräte GmbH
In 1960 the location at Dillingen an der Donau, in Northern Swabia (Bayerisch-Schwaben), was set up by Robert Bosch GmbH. Today, Dillingen is the site of Europe's largest and most modern dishwasher plant. The development and competence center now also resident at the location, has global responsibility for creating innovative and environmentally friendly high-end dishwashers.
In 1987, for example, the Dillingen plant was responsible for a global "first" in the form of the 45 cm dishwasher, followed in 2000 by the world's first fully automatic dishwasher. The multi-award winning Zeolith® drying system was also developed here; they boast exceptionally low electricity consumption and use just 7 liters of water per wash cycle.
