Owned by BSH since 1982, Neff GmbH in Bretten (Baden-Württemberg) is a quality-conscious and innovative company. Carl Andreas Neff founded the company, Carl Neff Herd- und Ofenfabrik, in 1877. It was the time when the first coal-fired domestic ranges were marketed – under the brand name of Neff. With the building of the extractor hood factory in 1994 and its expansion in 1997, the Bretten location became BSH's competence center for these products and the biggest employer in the region. Today, the production program at Bretten includes electric ovens and cookers as well as extractor hoods and chimneys.
Neff has always stood for innovative products with a high degree of customer benefit. In 1957, for example, they developed what was then called the electron oven – the microwave - and in 1958 induction cooking was invented there. Further information can be found on the dedicated website Neff as an employer.
