Dr. Thorsten Lücke to Become Member of the Board of Management and Chief Financial Officer of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH
- Thorsten Lücke, currently member of the Board of Management of Mobility Electronics in the Mobility business sector of Robert Bosch GmbH, will join BSH effective June 1, 2024 and will assume the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on October 1, 2024
- The 49-year-old, who holds a doctorate in Engineering, will succeed Dr. Gerhard Dambach, who will retire at the end of 2024
Munich, April 25, 2024 (BSH) – Thorsten Lücke (49) will join BSH Hausgeräte GmbH on June 1, 2024 and become the new Chief Financial Officer and Labor Director of Europe's leading home appliance manufacturer on October 1, 2024. As a member of the Group's Board of Management, he will be responsible for Finance, Legal, Compliance and Global Digital Services. He holds a doctorate in Engineering and has worked for the Bosch Group since 2005 in various functions and management positions in the areas of Finance, Controlling and Logistics. Most recently, he was a member of the Board of Management of Mobility Electronics in the Mobility business sector of Robert Bosch GmbH, where he was responsible for Finance and Controlling. Thorsten Lücke succeeds Gerhard Dambach (61), who has decided to retire at the end of 2024. [...]
"Thorsten Lücke has many years of international experience within the Bosch Group and great expertise in Finance and the management of large international units. "At the same time, on behalf of the entire Supervisory Board, I would like to thank Gerhard Dambach for his many years of service on the Board of Management and his great contribution to the success of BSH. We look forward to his continued active support in the tasks ahead and in the upcoming handover process to his successor."

Thorsten Lücke graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Production Management from Rheinisch-Westfaelische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) Aachen, Germany, in 2000. He went on to earn a doctorate in Production Management from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. "Being appointed to the BSH Board of Management is both a challenge and a motivation for me. I am very much looking forward to the exciting task of playing a key role in shaping the future of BSH," said Lücke.
